Design Work and Process
The natural world inspires my design process, particularly through discoveries I make while foraging. Whether I'm creating functional or decorative objects, my goal is to acknowledge the tenets of good design while nodding just slightly to the whimsical. I suppose pounding hot steel with a hammer, sanding wood to 320 grit, and watching liquid bronze ooze into a mold are really just alternative forms of cooking for me.
